vivo has confirmed that the X Fold6 will launch in China on June 26. The announcement follows several teasers shared by the company in recent days. At the same time, vivo has opened pre-orders for the foldable smartphone across China.
Customers can now reserve the device through vivo’s official online store in China. Pre-orders are also available on major e-commerce platforms, including Tmall and JD.com.
The company has already revealed several key details about the upcoming foldable. The vivo X Fold6 will use the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition chipset. It will also feature a 200MP main rear camera, an 8.02-inch inner display, and the new OriginOS 6 Fold software.
In addition, vivo has published an official unboxing video. The video offers a closer look at the phone’s design and showcases the new Blue Hole color option. It also highlights the accessories that will ship inside the retail package.
Moreover, the X Fold6 will support vivo’s Zeiss 200mm Teleconverter G2 accessory. It will also work with the 2.35x teleconverter attachment that first arrived with the vivo X200 Ultra.
More details about the device are expected before the official launch. Recent rumors suggest the foldable could pack a large 6,900mAh battery. It may also include a 50MP ultrawide camera and a 6.51-inch cover display.
With less than two weeks remaining before the launch event, vivo continues to reveal new information about the X Fold6 as anticipation builds around its next-generation foldable smartphone.
