Akasa Air has commenced commercial operations from Noida International Airport (NIA), marking a significant milestone in its network expansion strategy and strengthening its footprint in the National Capital Region (NCR).

The airline’s inaugural flight departed Navi Mumbai International Airport at 0725 hrs on 16 June 2026 and arrived at Noida International Airport at 0935 hrs. The return service departed Noida at 1015 hrs and landed in Navi Mumbai at 1230 hrs.

With the launch, Akasa Air becomes one of the first airlines to operate scheduled commercial services from Noida International Airport, one of India’s newest aviation gateways. The move reflects the airline’s focus on expanding connectivity in high-growth aviation markets while supporting the development of emerging airport infrastructure.

The launch further strengthens Akasa Air’s presence in northern India and supports its strategy of building a diversified domestic and international network. The airline said it continues to focus on aviation hubs that offer strong demand potential, operational efficiencies and improved connectivity options for travellers.

In addition to flight operations, Akasa Air will establish a maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility within the airport premises. The facility will support a range of aircraft maintenance activities and contribute to operational efficiency and safety standards as the airline continues its expansion.
