Aton Health announced the closing of a Series A growth investment led by Shore Search Partners. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The Kansas City, Missouri-based healthcare company integrates research into routine patient care, enabling healthcare providers to participate in non-interventional research programs while generating real-world clinical evidence. The investment will support the expansion of Aton Health’s TrialSight and CareSight platforms, entry into additional specialties and healthcare markets beyond gastroenterology, and continued investments in technology, operations, and team growth.
Unlike traditional clinical trial sites, Aton embeds its data collection infrastructure directly within existing specialty practices. The company’s model is designed to improve patient engagement and research accessibility while minimizing disruption to provider workflows.
According to the company, its platform screens tens of thousands of patients each month across active research programs, with more than 5,000 patients currently enrolled in studies.
Shore Search Partners, an investment platform of Shore Capital Partners, said the investment reflects the growing importance of integrating clinical research into routine healthcare delivery. Shore Capital Partners manages approximately $17 billion in assets and provides operational support to portfolio companies across multiple industries.
