The Redmi Turbo 5 is now available in India following its launch in China earlier this year. It features a 7,540mAh battery in a compact body and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra chipset.
Aside from one small change, the Indian Redmi Turbo 5 is identical to its Chinese counterpart. The only difference is that the Chinese model packs a slightly larger 7,560mAh battery.

It sports a 6.59-inch flat AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, 3,500 nits peak brightness, and 1.5K resolution.
The Dimensity 8500-Ultra SoC is kept cool with the help of a 3D ice-loop cooling system that features a 5,300 mm2 vapor chamber. The chipset is paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 245GB of UFS 4.1 storage.
For photography, the phone gets a 50MP Sony IMX882 main rear camera along with an 8MP ultrawide unit. It features a 20MP sensor up front for selfies and video calling.
The Redmi Turbo 5 comes with a 7,540mAh battery in India. It supports 100W wired fast charging and 27W reverse wired charging.
The handset runs Android 16-based HyperOS 3 and will receive 4 years of software and 6 years of security updates.
It gets a metal frame, an in-display fingerprint scanner, an IP69K rating, RGB ring lights housed inside the camera module, an Infrared sensor, and stereo speakers.
The Redmi Turbo 5 will be available in India in Asphalt Black, Nitro Blue, and Turbo White shades. Pricing starts at INR 37,999 ($400) for the 8GB/128GB variant, whereas the 12GB/256GB option is INR 40,999 ($435).
Sales begin on June 19 via the official Mi.com store, Amazon India, and select offline retailers.
