Honor has shared more details about the upcoming X80 Pro Max ahead of its launch in China on June 22. The company recently confirmed that the smartphone will pack the largest battery ever seen on an Honor phone. Now, it has revealed key information about the device’s display.
According to Honor, the X80 Pro Max will feature an industry-first display capable of reaching a peak brightness of 10,000 nits. This makes it one of the phone’s biggest highlights alongside its massive 11,000mAh battery.
The display will support a 120Hz refresh rate and offer a 1.5K resolution. Honor also claims the panel will feature ultra-slim 1.3mm bezels on all four sides, giving the device a more premium look.
In addition, the smartphone will come with an IP69K rating for dust and water resistance. The company has also confirmed SGS five-star drop protection, which should improve durability during everyday use.
Honor has already showcased the design of the X80 Pro Max and confirmed that it will be available in four color options. While the company has yet to reveal the complete specifications, recent rumors suggest the phone could feature a 50MP main rear camera, a 6.8-inch display, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset.
More details about the Honor X80 Pro Max are expected to be announced during its official launch event on June 22.
