Tivoli Hospitality Group has entered into a strategic partnership with venue technology company Spalba to digitise venue discovery and event planning across its hospitality portfolio, targeting growing demand from MICE and wedding clients for faster, more informed booking decisions.

As part of the collaboration, two Tivoli properties have already been onboarded onto Spalba’s platform, allowing corporate and wedding planners to virtually explore venues, customise layouts, and visualise event setups before making booking commitments. The initiative is expected to reduce reliance on multiple physical site visits while improving planning efficiency for both clients and venue operators.

Spalba’s digital twin technology creates immersive virtual replicas of physical venues, enabling users to modify seating plans, décor arrangements, stage configurations and event layouts in real time. The platform also facilitates collaboration between hotel teams, event organisers and corporate clients through a shared visual interface.

The partnership comes as the hospitality industry increasingly adopts technology-led solutions to enhance customer engagement and streamline sales processes. Visual-led planning tools have become particularly important in the MICE and wedding segments, where venue selection often depends on the ability to assess spaces quickly and accurately.

Being able to visualise the entire experience remotely is becoming critical. This partnership enables us to deliver that clarity while also improving how quickly we can close decisions.”

The platform incorporates AI-led features including space navigation tools, AI-assisted content capabilities and event mock builders designed to provide greater predictability and operational efficiency throughout the planning process.

This shift is creating a more efficient marketplace, where decisions are driven by real-time visualisation rather than static images or site visits. According to Spalba, hospitality businesses using its platform have reported improved enquiry engagement, higher lead-to-booking conversion rates and shorter sales cycles. Tivoli Hospitality Group plans to begin implementation across key properties in India, with a phased expansion across its wider portfolio based on demand from corporate and wedding segments.
