Chandler’s school board still doesn’t agree on the need for mental-health services.

However, it seems there’s now only one Chandler Unified Governing Board member among the five who’s opposed to investing in such services. And even he is willing to concede that those interventions might be needed.

The board approved more than a dozen action items at its June 10 meeting, including four mental health and/or behavioral health contracts and one renewal of a substance-abuse program contract.
