Mercy Health Services launches inaugural 5K at Maryland Zoo in celebration of 150 years of care
Sunday offered a perfect morning for the inaugural Mercy Race for the Future 5K and 1-mile Walk.Mercy Health Services hosted the run to celebrate 150 years of care. The race brought together patients, caregivers, employees and their families at the Maryland Zoo to encourage them to get active for a good cause.”I think we’re always looking for ways to bring the Mercy family together, to bring our community that we serve together, and this was a great way to do it and to do it at a great location in Baltimore and just celebrate together,” said Dr. David Maine, president and CEO of Mercy Health Services.The money raised will support programs and initiatives that expand access to care, advance medical innovation and strengthen the communities Mercy serves.
