Samsung has started testing Android 17-based One UI 9 updates for more Galaxy devices, expanding its beta program beyond flagship models. The company is already working on One UI 9 for the Galaxy S26 series, Galaxy S25 lineup, and the upcoming Galaxy S26 FE.
Now, internal testing has also begun for three additional smartphones. These include the Galaxy A17 5G, Galaxy A34, and Galaxy A57. This shows that Samsung is gradually bringing the new software to its mid-range and entry-level devices as well.
The Galaxy A17 5G is currently running an internal One UI 9 build with firmware version A176BXXU5DZF1. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A34 is being tested with firmware A346BXXUFGZF1. The Galaxy A57 has also entered testing with build A576BXXU3BZF3. These builds confirm active development across multiple product lines.
However, Samsung has not shared a release date for the One UI 9 beta on these devices. Still, the rollout is expected to happen in the coming weeks as testing continues.
Earlier, Samsung confirmed that its upcoming foldable phones will launch with One UI 9 out of the box. This makes the software debut closely tied to its next major hardware launch.
The company is expected to launch three foldable smartphones this year. These include the Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. According to reports, the launch event may take place on July 22 in London.
