Following the Tecno Spark 50 5G and Spark 50 4G, Tecno unveiled the Pro member of the series. We have the Spark 50 Pro with us, so let’s see what it’s all about.

Let’s start by opening the box and see what’s inside it.
Unboxing the Tecno Spark 50 Pro
The device ships along with a USB-A to USB-C cable used for charging and data transfer, a compatible Tecno charger rated at up to 60W and a soft-touch silicone case that matches the device’s color.
The Spark 50 Pro’s design, especially the Dynamic Orange, is quite reminiscent of the iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max. You can also get it in Midnight Blue (the second colorway pictured below), Ink Black, Titanium Gray and Cloud White. Check them out in action on our TikTok.

The body is flat for the most part, thin at just 7.8mm, lightweight and durable. It offers IP68/IP69 ingress protection.
The handset is built around a 6.78-inch IPS LCD panel with 120Hz refresh rate, while the Helio G100 chipset is tasked with doing the number crunching. You can find the phone in just one memory configuration – 8GB/256GB.
Battery endurance and charging is where the Tecno Spark 50 Pro shines. It employs a generous 6,000 mAh single-cell battery, but some markets get the dual-cell version with a slightly smaller 5,600 mAh unit. In either case, you get 60W wired charging with the charger supplied in the box.
Tecno promises at least 1,900 charging cycles, or at least 6 years of use before notable battery degradation occurs.

The camera hardware is quite simple – 50MP Sony LYTIA 600 f/1.8 camera on the back, while the front houses an 8MP snapper with a dedicated flash for better low-light selfies.
Last but not least, the Spark 50 Pro boasts a set of DTS stereo speakers for a complete multimedia experience.
Of course, the handset boots Android 16 out of the box with Tecno’s HiOS on top.
