vivo has officially unveiled the Y500 smartphone in Pakistan, bringing a combination of long battery life, a high-resolution display, and enhanced durability features to the mid-range segment. The new smartphone arrives with a redesigned look that includes vivo’s Nebula Window camera module. It is available in Pearl White and Midnight Blue color options. The device also features a slim profile and curved body design for a more comfortable grip.
One of the biggest highlights of the vivo Y500 is its 8100mAh BlueVolt battery. According to vivo, this is the largest battery ever included in a Y Series smartphone. Despite the large battery capacity, the company has managed to keep the device relatively slim through its self-developed Space Stacking Technology and Magic Cube Expansion Packaging Process.
vivo claims the battery can deliver up to 10 hours of continuous gaming on a single charge. The company is also offering a 6-Year Battery Health guarantee and a 50-Month Smooth Experience certification, aiming to provide long-term reliability for users.
The Y500 features a 6.77-inch 1.5K Infinity AMOLED display with HDR10+ support. It offers a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of 5000 nits. As a result, users can expect smoother scrolling, improved gaming responsiveness, and better visibility in bright outdoor conditions.
To further improve media consumption, vivo has equipped the phone with dual stereo speakers. Together with the AMOLED panel, powering the smartphone is a 6nm processor, although vivo has not specified the chipset model. T
The device carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. In addition, it supports underwater photography through a dedicated IP69 camera mode, allowing users to capture images in challenging environments.
For photography, the smartphone features a 50MP Sony main camera on the rear. On the front, it includes a 32MP selfie camera. vivo says the camera system is designed to deliver detailed photos and clearer portraits across different lighting conditions.
Price and Availability
The vivo Y500 will be available in Pakistan in two storage variants. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model is priced at Rs. 99,999, while the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage version costs Rs. 109,999.
Pre-orders will open from June 20 and continue until June 26. Meanwhile, nationwide sales will begin on June 27, 2026. vivo is also offering a 1+1 year warranty, a 15-day free replacement policy, and a six-month warranty for accessories as part of its after-sales support package.
