WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – For many cancer patients, timely access to care is as critical as the treatment itself, and Novant Health is expanding that access across southeastern North Carolina.
Dr. Rex Kiteley, a radiation oncologist with Novant Health, was in the studio to discuss advanced services being offered.
“It’s a little bit overwhelming once you’re diagnosed,” Kitely said. “But we think here at Novant, we get people in pretty quickly, explain everything to them, figure out what stage they are. And once we know that, we can come up with an individual treatment plan for that patient and get them started as quickly as we can.”
